The Winter 2026 Flu vaccination programme will officially begin in mid October.
Those who are eligible will be invited to attend initially by text message - these will be sent during the last week of September and first week of October, please keep an eye out for these.
Unfortunately due to limited vaccine supply the Practice intends to hold multiple small clinics from mid October and throughout November, offering both Flu and Covid vaccines to all those eligible. Sadly we do not have enough vaccines available to call everyone in at once so please do not be alarmed if you have yet to receive your invite.
Flu vaccines are provided to patients who suffer from chronic conditions or have other specific medical reasons.
Eligible conditions / criteria include:
*Chronic Heart Disease
*Asthma, COPD & some other breathing illnesses
*Diabetes
*Certain kidney / liver conditions
*Stroke patients and certain other neurological conditions
*Pregnancy
*Those receiving certain medications effecting the immune system

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO ATTENDING A FLU CLINIC APPOINTMENT............
*Appointments will be for vaccine purposes only
*Upon entering the building you will be asked to have your left arm exposed
to shoulder height, ready to receive your vaccination
*You must attend your appointment alone (unless under 16 or requiring a carer)
*Appointments will be sent by text message, please ensure we have the correct mobile number for you
***Anyone who cannot attend at the time they have been allocated should speak to reception for further guidance***
