PDC Website Design 2013
The Practice will be closed from 1.00pm on the following afternoons:
Wednesday 12th February 2020
Thursday 27th February 2020
We will re-open, as normal at 8.30am on the following working day.
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO TRIAGE TIMES
From Monday 17th February 2020, please note the new times for
telephone triage (emergency appointments & antibiotics) will be:
Monday - Friday 8.30am-10.30am
You will be asked for brief details regarding your emergency, along
with a contact number of your choice upon which the emergency
GP on call will return your call.
Unfortuantely, due to the numbers of missed appointments, the
Practice has been forced to introduce a strict Did not attend
This means that should you miss 2 or more appointments in a
period of 6 months you WILL be sent a warning letter.
You may also be removed from the Practice list if you repeatedly
miss appointments despite warnings.
Please ensure that you attend your appointments or at the very
least cancel those you are unable to attend - appointments need to
be cancelled with at least 1 hours notice.
Tips to remember you appointment date include: putting note on
fridge, adding reminder to phone, writing in diary etc
CHANGE OF OPENING HOURS
From Tues 1st October 2019, Practice opening hours will be as follows:
8.30am-1.00pm & 2.00pm-5.00pm
Closed daily 1.00pm-2.00pm
We appreciate your co-operation with these changes
Please be aware that, due to issues concerning patient safety, the
Practice operates within a strict patient boundary.
This means that we are only able to accept / retain patients who reside
within a set area.
Should you move to an address not included in this area, you will
unfortunately be asked to find a new doctor.
Please note that this is Practice Policy and standard procedure, as
agreed with both Health & Social Care Board and BSO.
Unfortunately there can be no exceptions to this policy nor can it be judged on an individual patient to patient basis.
Wednesday 31st July 2019
It has been a pleasure and a privilege to look after you all in Cliftonville Medical Practice over the past 16 years.
Unfortunately and with great regret I have had to leave the practice due to illness.
I leave you in the very capable hands of my colleague Dr Emma-Sue Curran and the rest of the staff.
Wishing you all the very best for the future,
Dr Kathy Mahood
